Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop, create, and present technical proposals and quotations to potential clients.
Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics.Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge within the relevant industry (e.g. engineering, technology, software).Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with clients.Understand customer needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.Showcase a proven track record in sales or route-to-market strategies within a heavy civils environment.Apply strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of successful global technical sales experience, preferably in machinery, heavy plant, or technical engineering.Proficiency in crafting and delivering technical proposals and quotations.Strong understanding of industry trends and technological advancements.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and interact effectively with clients and internal teams.Demonstrated ability to comprehend customer needs and translate them into feasible technical solutions.Proven history of devising successful sales strategies and penetrating new markets.Outstanding problem-solving skills to address client challenges.Willingness to travel globally to establish and nurture client relationships.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the CEO, providing a direct channel for communication and strategy alignment.
Location:
This is a remote position that involves frequent global travel to engage with clients and explore market opportunities.
Benefits and Compensation:
In addition to a competitive base salary of £70,000, the Global Technical Sales Representative role offers a performance-based bonus structure and comprehensive corporate benefits package.
