We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Bid Coordinator to take direct control of business development and drive company growth within the construction, fit-out, and refurbishment sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire bid and proposal process, manage ITT, PQQ, and RFI submissions, and actively promote our client’s company values through strategic marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Bid & Proposal Management: Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of ITT, PQQ, and RFI documents to secure new contracts.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities and contribute to client engagement strategies to drive business growth.
- Content & Document Control: Develop high-quality, persuasive bid content, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with estimators, project managers, and senior leadership to develop competitive proposals.
- Market Research: Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and client demands to refine bid strategies.
- Brand & Marketing Support: Assist in the development of marketing materials, case studies, and presentations to enhance the company’s profile.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of tenders, submissions, and client interactions in a structured manner.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Bid Coordinator or similar role within the construction, fit-out, or refurbishment sector.
- Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes within construction.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and document management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organised approach to work.
