Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Install, test, and maintain smoke and heat alarms in residential and commercial properties.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, components, and systems.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace malfunctioning or damaged electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, including equipment, wiring, and component problems.
  • Connect wires and cables to various electrical devices and systems.
  • Collaborate with plumbing to connect pipes to water supply systems.
  • Perform additional duties as required by supervisors or managers.
  • Undertake further certifications (with provided training), including Legionella risk assessments and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
  • Complete and maintain all safety certifications, records, and job notes accurately.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, upholding company values and providing quality interactions with clients.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • Proven experience as an electrician, ideally within property maintenance or a similar environment.
  • 18th Edition with domestic Knowledge in EICR processes, alarm systems, and general electrical maintenance and installation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Willingness to complete additional certifications and training as required.
