Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) to high standards of quality and safety.
- Install, test, and maintain smoke and heat alarms in residential and commercial properties.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, components, and systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace malfunctioning or damaged electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, including equipment, wiring, and component problems.
- Connect wires and cables to various electrical devices and systems.
- Collaborate with plumbing to connect pipes to water supply systems.
- Perform additional duties as required by supervisors or managers.
- Undertake further certifications (with provided training), including Legionella risk assessments and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
- Complete and maintain all safety certifications, records, and job notes accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service, upholding company values and providing quality interactions with clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an electrician, ideally within property maintenance or a similar environment.
- 18th Edition with domestic Knowledge in EICR processes, alarm systems, and general electrical maintenance and installation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to complete additional certifications and training as required.
