MGR Resources are recruiting a Project Manager with a joinery background specialising in delivering high-end commercial office refurbishment and build projects, you will play a critical role in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of a Commercial Office Space.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or deviations from the plan.
Quality Control:
- Maintain a keen focus on quality control, ensuring that all joinery work meets the highest standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee adherence to design specifications and craftsmanship quality.
Team Supervision:
- Supervise site managers and provide guidance on project execution.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Construction Management:
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to optimise project efficiency.
Subcontractor Management:
- Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors, including joinery specialists, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor performance throughout the project.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
- Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve any on-site challenges to keep projects on track.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong focus on joinery.
- SMSTS and First Aid
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-end commercial office refurbishment and build projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising site managers and subcontractors.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
